How does it detect inference time?
The CLI uses Claude Code's official UserPromptSubmit hook and prints one line labeled Sponsored without delaying your prompt. The VS Code extension shows a 10-second labeled card in a side panel without stealing focus. No file patching.
Can I turn it off?
Yes. Uninstall the extension at any time. Your earned balance stays in your account.
How often will I earn?
Every time your AI tool waits for a response. At a $5 CPM you earn $0.003 per ad; ~150 ads on a busy coding day ≈ $0.45. Actual earnings depend on advertiser bids and how much you code.
How do I get paid?
Once your balance reaches $25, request a payout from your dashboard. Payouts are reviewed and sent via UPI (India) through RazorpayX.
What data does ClaudeCash collect?
Only your email (for sign-in) and impression counts (to calculate earnings). We never read your code, prompts, or AI responses.
